January 5, Day 194 – In Clearwater (maybe forever)

Okay, we’ve been back from our holiday break for 5 days now, and we’ve come up with about 5 different ideas of what our plan should be moving forward (actually moving south). The weather forecast has a couple of “not terrible” days coming up, but then rainy and/or cold on the weekend. Given that we’re paid up at this marina through January 12, we’ve decided to stay here, rent a car and visit St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay, Sarasota and environs by car during the next 5 days. By Monday, we hope the weather is at least bearable and we’ll head out then. That’s our plan and we may or may not be sticking to it.
