March 5, Day 253 – In Marathon

Today was a continuation of yesterday; in other words, we continued with our compounding/polishing/waxing project. It wasn’t much fun and by mid-afternoon we were both dog tired, but the boat is starting to look better.

At 3:30 there was a dessert party in the clubhouse. It was billed as a going-away party for the loopers that are leaving within the next few days. We don’t have an actual date as it will be weather dependent, but we’re hoping for Saturday or Sunday.

Later in the evening Linda did one last load of laundry and Gerry worked on routes. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Come one, come all to the ice cream and cake party.

This is Andrew and Sallyann and they brought the cake. Actually is was called a litter-box cake and they gave the credit to their cat Tut. It tasted much better than it looked.

Here is Chef Tut, right after making the cake.
