April 15, Day 294– In St. Augustine

Today was the last day of the rendezvous. There was a full day of seminars including one on the St. Johns River. Since that is our next destination we attended this one to get ideas on anchorages and “must see” spots along the river. We also attended a class on rope splicing and discovered we both have two left hands. Actually, by the time the class was over, Linda had it mastered so guess she’ll be doing the rope splicing if any is needed.

We received the new radio in the afternoon and Gerry installed it and has it working. It was a lot easier to install than the stereo speakers.

In the evening we attended the social hour, dinner and awards ceremony. All in all, it was a very informative and fun rendezvous. We are making plans to attend the Northern Rendezvous in Baltimore in September.
