April 10, Day 289 – In St. Augustine

We had arranged for a rental car for the weekend, so we were up fairly early to be ready for our Enterprise “pick up” at 9:30. After getting the car we continued on to Jacksonville. We all wanted to do a little shopping (Best Buy, West Marine, etc) plus Michael and Jana wanted to check out a couple of boat storage facilities in the area as they plan on leaving their boat in Florida during the summer while they return to Colorado.

After a full day of shopping we finally returned to the boats around 6:30. It had been a long day, so we had dinner on board (Linda fixed Mexican Steak in the pressure cooker – very good) and we called it a night. Gerry’s allergies had bothered him all day so he took some medicine hoping he’d feel better in the morning.
