After breakfast one of residents of the marina offered to drive us around to various places so we could get needed supplies – gas, oil, fishing lures, TV cable, etc. After our shopping expedition we stopped at Burdines for lunch. Good food with a great view. We saw manatees and dolphins while we were eating. Later on in the day we walked to West Marine since it’s only a few blocks away. We picked up a few more items there as well as checking out a tackle and bait shop.
We heard from our friends, Jim and Karen, in Maryland. They are not going to be able to join us later this week as the airports are closed and the snow is still falling. Bummer!!
We had a light dinner on board, did a few computer things and then called it a day. It is still windy so we’ll be rockin’ and rollin’ again tonight. Gerry even blew up the “big ball” fenders to try to mitigate the bouncing.
The marina this morning. It's kind of hard to see, but there were waves and white caps across from us.
There was a sailboat anchored out by the marina that was reallly getting tossed around.
