May 17, Day 326 – In Oriental

The weather forecast for today called for a 90% chance of thunderstorms, so we decided to stay put. We did a few chores this morning and then took the courtesy van into town and had lunch at the M&M Café. The food was very good. We went back to the consignment shop as Gerry thought of something else he needed, but no luck with finding what he was after. We also browsed through the other shops in town before returning to the marina.

Linda spent most of the rest of the day reading and Gerry worked on routes for Virginia and Maryland. We had dinner cooked in the pressure cooker and then watched a little TV. Not sure what our plans will be for tomorrow. We’ll have to wait and see what the weather brings. So far, the storm hasn’t amounted to much.

We had a very good lunch at M&M's Cafe ....

.... and then we went to check out the Oriental mermaid
