We returned to the boat in the late afternoon, relaxed for awhile and then went back into town to Cap’n Jack’s where we had a drink and a couple of appetizers for dinner. Ya, we know, it's a tough life. While sitting there we bumped into another guy we had met at the AGLCA Rendezvous at Wheeler Park in 2009 while doing the Loop and he joined us. We have seen 4 or 5 other Loopers while in Hope Town. It really is a small world.
Harbor's Edge Restaurant overlooking the mooring field. We had lunch there one afternoon |
The beach just off of Hope Town |
The sign at the restaurant On Da Beach. While on our golf cart tour, we stopped here for lunch. |
A shot of the beach as seen from the restaurant |
Another shot of the beach with rollers coming in |
Looking out at Dorros Cove |

Looking out at the Sea of Abaco |
Along the shoreline at Tahiti Beach |
Driftwood on the beach. It was along this beach that we found quite a bit of sea glass. |
A butterfly playing among the flowers. It wouldn't stay still, so I didn't get a very clear picture. |
The road that runs through a hilly spot on Elbow Cay |
More of the roadway -- this time through palm trees |
The restaurant at the Sea Spray Marina |
A shot of the marina -- very nice -- but basically empty |
We stopped at the Abaco Inn. A nice place with a great view |
They also had great drinks. This one was Gerry's |
This one was Linda's |
This one was Jana's. We voted it the prettiest. |
A sign post along the road. Only 882 miles to Baltimore |
This is a picture of Sharpie's Dream. The boat we traveled with a bit on the Great Loop. |
Peaking through the fence |
Cap'n Jack's, another restaurant on the water's edge in Hope Town |
